Big Data Engineer

Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy solutions in BigData, Hive, UNIX, Spark SQL, and Hadoop. Apply internal standards for re-use, architecture, testing, and best practices. Oversee the full software development life cycle. Deliver high‑quality code on time with a low rate of production defects. Research and recommend technologies to improve current systems. Communicate status and risk to stakeholders and escalates issues as appropriate. Qualifications Knowledge of big‑data tools such as Spark and HiveQL is desirable. Ability to use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem‑solving techniques. Analytical, flexible, and team‑oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Flexible and able to manage time effectively. Ability to learn new skills quickly with minimal supervision and pay attention to high‑priority details. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting at all levels. Efficiently and effectively manage work, time, and resources. Strong problem‑solving and program execution skills with a process‑oriented mindset. Self‑motivated and delivery‑focused.
