What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to critically ill and medically complex patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and quickly recognize changes in patient condition.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, ventilators, invasive lines, and life support equipment.
• Administer medications, blood products, IV therapies, and critical care treatments safely and accurately.
• Respond confidently to medical emergencies, rapid response situations, and code events.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop lifesaving treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.
• Educate patients and families while providing compassionate, patient centered care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact RN License.
• Minimum one (1) year of recent ICU experience preferred.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast paced, high acuity environment.
