Job Summary:
This position is for a CT Technologist located in Brooklyn, New York. The role involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure accuracy and quality. The technologist will be responsible for patient care, equipment calibration, documentation, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines in a busy radiology department.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 08/31/2026, Days shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 7.5 hours per shift and a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensing with New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) in Radiologic Technologist, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 1 year of CT experience, graduate of Radiologic Technologist program, New York State License (L.R.T)
• Certifications: ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, BLS certification
• Responsibilities include utilizing appropriate kV and mA techniques, performing daily quality control calibrations, injecting radiopharmaceuticals, maintaining documentation, following radiation safety guidelines, and preparing patient films and electronic data for radiologist interpretation.
• Skills: Performs CT procedures according to prescribed protocols, exercises judgment in patient care, and complies with all safety and regulatory policies.
• Education: Licensing through NYS DOH, ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, BLS certification.
