Department: Obstetrics and Gynecology; Division of MaternalFetal Medicine Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (DNP/NP/PA) Position #00844990 – Requisition #:38946 Job Summary We have a full-time faculty position (.5 – 1.0 FTE) for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). This position will be at the rank of Senior Instructor unless a higher rank has been bestowed via promotions at an academic institution. The position resides in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM), in the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado at Anschutz. This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join our clinical perinatal program and network within the metro Denver area and across the state, with teaching responsibilities and research options as desired. The Division provides comprehensive MFM activities via inpatient, outpatient, telehealth consultative services, and remote ultrasound interpretation. This position will provide outpatient clinical services in partnership with the Maternal Fetal Medicine MDs, at UCHealth Anschutz and the Littleton Perinatal Center. Specific Duties / Skills High‑Risk Prenatal Care Post‑Partum Care Diabetes Management during pregnancy Birth Control Interpretation of non‑stress tests and biophysical profiles Administrative Functions Assist with facilitating patient access into the outpatient network of care Participate in departmental meetings Participate in research, as desired, including accessing the departmental database Track clinical metrics pertaining to UCH AOP MFM services Work Location: Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite in both Aurora, CO and Littleton, CO. Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure by a national professional organization (for NP) Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Colorado (for NP) Admission to the Advanced Practice Registry of the Colorado Board of Nursing (for NP) Prescriptive authority (for NP) One or more years of clinical experience in practice as an NP or PA in obstetrical/gynecological care Current Physician Assistant licensure in the state of Colorado (for PA) Prescriptive authority (for PA) Must have Colorado licensures by date of hire Candidates may be working toward Colorado clinical licenses during the application process and registered with DORA – Department of Regulatory Agencies Preferred Qualifications One or more years of experience working in Maternal Fetal Medicine Bilingual skills Compensation The starting salary range for this position has been established as $107,890 – $147,846 for 1.0 FTE. Salary will be determined by FTE and years of experience. The above salary range is the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non‑exempt.
