Your Responsibilities

As a Inside Sales Rep for John Deere WW Construction & Forestry located in Moline, IL you will:

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for converting early customer interest and growth intelligence into clean, qualified opportunities through fast follow-up, clear next steps, and disciplined lead management. This role qualifies inbound and outbound leads, engages prospective and existing customers, captures customer needs and context, and ensures qualified opportunities are routed to the appropriate sales resource timely and accurately. The role serves as a critical connection between demand generation, lifecycle intelligence, installed-base insights, customers, dealers, and field sales teams by creating pipeline from replacement, upgrade, service, rental, attachment, technology, and productivity opportunities. This role may focus on new logo business, installed-base opportunities and/or lifecycle leads.

What Skills You Need

• Strong verbal and written customer communication skills.
• Basic understanding of sales qualification, customer needs assessment, and lead management.
• Experience working with CRM tools and maintaining accurate customer records.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to learn Deere product offerings, customer segments, dealer networks, and sales processes.
• Demonstrated organizational and follow-through skills. 

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience working with dealer networks, channel partners, or indirect sales models.
• Strong prospecting and qualification skills, including comfort working from installed-base lists and customer ownership data.
• Ability to interpret lifecycle, fleet, customer, or asset data and translate signals into practical customer conversations and commercial opportunities.
• Customer service, inside sales, business development, or related experience preferred. 

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Agriculture, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
