Registered Nurse - Clinical - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit

Role The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care during hospital stays, assessing, managing, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care. Responsibilities Conducts thorough assessments, develops and evaluates individualized care plans, administers medications, documents patient responses, and educates patients and families. Recognizes and responds to changes in patient conditions, manages high-risk patients with specialized interventions such as restraint and pain management, and ensures safety and infection control protocols. Provides effective communication, collaborates with team members, and maintains professionalism and respect. Participates in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and documentation standards to enhance care quality. Qualifications & Skills Licensed as an RN in the respective state with current BLS certification. Demonstrates technical competence, adaptability, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and performance improvement is essential. Ability to work in a team, handle crisis situations, and maintain a professional, respectful environment is required.
