Material Handler

Job Details Position: 1st Shift Material Handler Shift: 4:00 am – 12:30 pm, Monday–Friday. Overtime required based on business needs. Pay: $22.50 per hour Core responsibilities of this role include: Case picking. Operating Pacer, Electric Pallet Jack and Reach Truck equipment (preferably with experience). Perform material handling, loading/unloading duties. Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Key Accountabilities Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of specified shift. Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock. Ensure the exact number and type of products ordered by the customer are checked and loaded correctly. Compare quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct. Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary. Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D. Maintain the facility and its equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion. Inspect all operated equipment daily. Complete daily inspection of equipment. Assist in physical inventories. Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred). Six months warehouse experience (preferred). Six months forklift operation experience (preferred). Experience operating powered equipment such as Pacer, Electric Pallet Jack, and Reach Truck. Benefits Affordable medical, dental, and vision coverage available beginning on your 30th day.
