Outside Sales Representative

Role Description

The Outside Sales Representative for Commercial Recreation Equipment is a full-time, field-based position. Candidates should reside in or near Lancaster, York, Berks or Chester County, PA. While training will take place at our Kennett Square, PA office, the successful candidate should reside within or near one of these territories.

This role focuses on generating new business and growing existing accounts across parks, schools, municipalities, landscape architects, and other commercial clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and networking, conducting site visits, preparing and delivering sales presentations, and collaborating with internal teams on design proposals and project solutions. The representative will manage the full sales cycle from initial consultation through proposal, negotiation, and project handoff while maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales opportunities.

This is a field-based position that requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory. New team members will receive comprehensive training both in our Kennett Square office and alongside experienced sales professionals in the field to ensure a successful transition into the role.

Compensation: $50,000–$150,000 annually , consisting of a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission , with total earnings based on experience and sales performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should reside in or near Lancaster, York, Berks, or Chester County, PA .
• Strong sales presentation and communication skills with the ability to effectively explain products and solutions to a variety of stakeholders.
• Proven relationship-building and customer service skills with a commitment to developing long-term client partnerships.
• Experience in new business development, territory management, prospecting, lead generation, and opportunity qualification.
• Previous experience in outside sales, construction, landscape architecture, parks and recreation, commercial equipment, or a related industry is preferred.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, conduct on-site visits, and work safely in outdoor environments.
• Must have a reliable vehicle for daily travel throughout the sales territory.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and preparing professional proposals and quotations.
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree, or equivalent sales experience, is preferred.
