Senior Accountant

Assist in maintaining the general ledger and accounting records across multiple related entities, including partnerships, LLCs, and other investment vehicles. Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, intercompany entries, and consolidating schedules. Assist in preparing balance-sheet reconciliations, internal financial statements, management reports, board materials, and capital-account reporting, along with budget-to-actual and variance analyses. Monitor cash balances, near-term obligations, and liquidity needs; prepare cash-flow forecasts and schedules. Reconcile bank, brokerage, and credit-card accounts; accounts payable, expense reimbursement, and vendor onboarding Account for investment activity across marketable securities, private funds, direct investments, and other alternatives; review capital-call and distribution notices. Maintain detailed investment records and reconcile to custodian, fund administrator, and manager statements; track commitments, funded and unfunded capital, and expected funding dates. Prepare and coordinate subscription documents and maintain entity, ownership, and compliance calendars. Coordinate the preparation and review of tax returns with external service providers Support the CFO and investment team on ad hoc projects, special analyses, and decision-support requests, with responsibilities expanding as the candidate grows into the role. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2–5 years of accounting or finance experience; we are prepared to train and develop a motivated candidate with strong fundamentals. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; detail-oriented, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
