• Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room I
• Facility: Wilmington Hospital, Wilmington, DE
• Unit: Emergency Nursing – Wilmington
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 25, 2026
• Shift: 12-Hour Days| 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Call Requirement: None
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Yes
• Float Requirement: Yes, to areas within the nurse's level of acuity
• Scheduling: Maximum of 3 days of RTO at submission
• Interview Process: Auto Offer – ER List D

Requirements

• Active Delaware RN License or Compact RN License in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room/ER nursing experience – no exceptions
• Recent Epic experience required
• RN license number and expiration date required at submission
• Current certifications with expiration dates required
• All RTO must be provided at the time of initial submission; requests submitted afterward will not be considered or approved
• Full SSN, DOB, and current address required for submission

Assignment Highlights

• Work in a fast-paced Emergency Nursing environment providing care to patients with varying levels of acuity.
• Utilize strong emergency assessment, prioritization, triage, and critical-thinking skills.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to stabilize and treat emergency patients.
• Provide safe, timely nursing interventions while maintaining accurate documentation in Epic .
• Must be comfortable working night shifts, holidays, and every third weekend .
• Travel RNs are expected to remain flexible with floating to areas within their competency and acuity level.
