About the Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Geropsychiatric Unit

The RN provides comprehensive nursing care to geropsychiatric patients, including assessments, medication administration, treatment implementation, patient monitoring, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, conducting patient education and therapeutic activities, and ensuring quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Active New Hampshire RN License
• BLS Certification
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• BSN preferred
• 1+ year of nursing experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong communication, assessment, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Key Duties:

• Perform mental and physical assessments
• Administer medications and treatments
• Develop and update individualized care plans
• Complete admission, progress, and discharge documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with quality and regulatory standards
