Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, ob/gyn, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, communicating each step with empathy and clarity
• Work in synergy with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Utilize and maintain imaging equipment diligently while reporting any issues promptly
• Ensure thorough documentation of imaging procedures and patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
