About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Bilingual Producer Service Representative to join a fast-paced customer support team within the insurance industry. This role serves as a key resource for field sales agents and customers by providing product information, resolving service inquiries, assisting with basic technical troubleshooting, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of service-related requests in a high-volume contact center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and support to agents and customers through phone and email interactions.
• Assist field sales representatives with insurance product information and policy-related questions.
• Handle escalated customer service inquiries while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
• Support new business, underwriting, claims, and compensation-related requests.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and guide users through solutions.
• Maintain quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics while meeting departmental KPIs.
• Demonstrate empathy, ownership, and strong problem-solving skills when resolving customer concerns.
• Stay current on products, procedures, and policy guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure efficient resolution of customer issues.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written communication)
• 2+ years of experience in a contact center, customer service, or call center environment
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced situations
• Proficiency with computers and database systems

Preferred

• Insurance industry experience
• Associate degree
• Experience with upselling or cross-selling products and services
• Supplemental insurance knowledge or licensing

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Columbia, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
