You’ll work closely with industry architects, researchers, and ecosystem partners to uncover bottlenecks, influence design choices, and define new product concepts. Inside Micron, you’ll collaborate with leading R&D, design, and product teams to turn ideas into solutions that move the industry forward.Responsibilities:Explore and analyze system architectures using modeling, simulation, and prototyping toolsIdentify system bottlenecks with customers and partners and propose innovative solutionsLead pathfinding efforts for architectures using LPDDR and DRAM module technologiesDefine memory features that increase DRAM value in AI workloadsMentor junior system architects and engineersMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering12+ years of engineering experienceFamiliarity with LPDDR and/or DRAM module architecturesUnderstanding of memory hierarchy, controllers, PHY, and custom SoC/ASIC designExperience with TSV, stacked packaging, or 3D packaging technologiesPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of memory subsystems in high‑performance computingExposure to HW/SW co‑optimization or regenerative AI frameworksExperience participating in JEDEC or other specification‑setting activitiesThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$177,000.00 - $387,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
