Audit Associate
Our client, a well-established company in White Plains, NY is looking for an Audit Associate.
Location: White Plains, NY
On-site Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
Temp to Perm
$65k
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing financial audits and internal control reviews
- Post and process journal entries related to audit adjustments
- Analyze and reconcile accounts, transactions, and financial statements
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Support data entry and documentation
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and findings
- Participate in month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Perform additional duties as needed and directed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP, auditing principles, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
