Description: Ability to assess, plan, and implement care for patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and acute and/or chronic wounds. Provides comprehensive care and education to patients and their families or significant others regarding the evaluation, selection, and recommendation of supplies and equipment. Aims to provide optimal wound and ostomy care.
