Job Details Position: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Lander, WY 82520 Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Hours: 36 hours per week Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Start Date: 9/7/2026 Job Requirements Active Wyoming RN license or compact/multi-state RN license Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing or acute care nursing experience required Current ACLS , BLS , and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team Responsibilities Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per nursing standards Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes promptly, and initiate appropriate interventions Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery plans, and home care needs Assist with dressing changes, IV starts, catheter insertion, and other bedside care tasks Support discharge planning and maintain thorough, timely, and accurate documentation Respond to urgent or life-saving situations following established nursing protocols Apply now to join this rewarding Wyoming nursing job and take the next step in your travel RN career in Lander, WY.
