Role Description This is a full-time Salesperson role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in Oak Brook, IL, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Salesperson will identify prospective clients, conduct needs assessments, and recommend appropriate life insurance products and solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, scheduling and conducting consultations, preparing proposals, and following up to close sales. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, collaborating with underwriting and customer service teams, and staying current on product features, regulatory requirements, and industry trends. The Salesperson will be expected to meet sales targets, provide ongoing support to existing clients, and represent the company professionally in person, over the phone, and online.
Qualifications

Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to analyze client needs, explain complex financial concepts clearly, and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
Proficiency with basic office software and CRM tools; comfortable working in both in-office and remote settings.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized, with effective time management and follow-up practices.
Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or consultative sales is preferred but not required.
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is an advantage.
Willingness to obtain and maintain any required state insurance licenses and complete ongoing training.
