Certified Medical Assistant
needed for a contract
opportunity with Yoh's engineering facility client located in Elgin, IL.
This Medical Assistant will be responsible for administrative and clinical duties. Must have experience in phlebotomy - primary care experience or related is preferred.

Schedule:
Mon, Wed, Fri 8am-5pm AND Tues, Thurs 10am-7pm

Duration:
7/20-10/19 with possible extension or direct placement

Pay: $19-25/hr

What You'll Be Doing:

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
• Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
• Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
• Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
• Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients
• Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at front desk
• Keys data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records
• May require other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Medical Assistant Certification - CMA exam certificate is required
• BLS upon hire
• At least two years of clinical and administrative experience
• Phlebotomy experience
• Primary care experience preferred.
• Bilingual candidates are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Reliable and organized candidate
