Join Allied Universal as an Armed Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including preparing accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential communities, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Support residential property operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with residents and/or management, and assisting with security-related requests as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
