Electro-Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianThis role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will support production by minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient facility. Openings are available on 2nd and 3rd shift, with every other weekend work on 1st shift.ResponsibilitiesPerform electro-mechanical maintenance on all plant equipment and facilities, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace components on industrial manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.Read and interpret electrical schematics to identify issues and determine effective repair strategies.Troubleshoot PLC systems, including platforms such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens, to resolve control and automation issues.Apply maintenance knowledge to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize waste across the facility.Respond quickly and effectively to machine downtime events, working with a strong sense of urgency.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to extend equipment life and prevent unplanned failures.Conduct electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on high-voltage systems, including 480V and 3-phase power.Carry out mechanical maintenance, including fabrication, welding, and mechanical repairs as needed.Essential SkillsAt least 5–7 years of experience successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.Proven experience in industrial maintenance, including both electrical and mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing setting.Strong electro-mechanical maintenance skills, including work on complex industrial machinery.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems, including high-level electrical work up to 480V.Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC systems, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, including gears, bearings, conveyors, and related components.Practical experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and electrical maintenance on industrial equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience performing electro-mechanical maintenance on boxing or corrugated equipment is preferred but not required.Experience in fabrication and welding to support mechanical repairs and equipment modifications.Experience in maintenance repair work within a warehouse or similar industrial environment.Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and documentation practices.Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Reading, PA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
