Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in the operating room setting, collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective surgical experiences. The role involves assessing patient needs, implementing evidence-based interventions, and supporting optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status and gather relevant clinical data for surgical procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet surgical patient needs.
• Administer and monitor medications and interventions in accordance with protocols and standards.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, postoperative care, and health maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ethical standards, and hospital policies related to surgical nursing.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to promote a safe, efficient operating room environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing or an Associate's degree with Montana RN licensure.
• Possess active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have at least 18 months of registered nursing experience.
• Demonstrate certification or experience in operating room nursing (preferred).
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Show excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
