Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Oxford, Alabama area, is seeking Assemblers to join their team! This facility offers a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!

Assembly Job Summary:
• Pay: $30.00-$36.72 an hour
• Set up and operate band saws to cut metal stock to the required dimensions
• Read drawings and cut sheets for material, size, and cutting specifications
• Obtain and transfer materials manually or with a hoist
• Measure completed work using a tape measure
• Record material cuts and scrap on cut sheets
• Mark completed pieces with project names and drawing references
• Bundle completed materials and place them on staging carts
• Cross-train and perform additional job duties as assigned

Assembly Qualifications:
• One or more years of industrial experience is preferred
• Must be able to operate an industrial-powered forklift
• Must be able to work with various hand tools
• Must be able to work with overhead cranes
• Must be able to read and interpret work orders and drawings
• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per day
• Must be able to lift and move materials while performing the job
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
