Forklift Operator position at Greif in Baltimore, OH. Job Requisition #: 032662 Forklift Operator (Open) Job Description: Forklift Operator (Converting Department) – Baltimore, OH. Shift: 12‑hour shifts (available 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7 a.m., dependent on seniority and schedule (2‑2‑3) for union facility). Scheduled to work half the year. Pay: $25.20 per hour, with potential to earn up to $50,000+ per year. Key Responsibilities: Package products into finished goods (ticketing, banding, wrapping) per customer specification and transport to on‑site warehouses. Spend 80% of time operating a sit‑down forklift. Spend 20% of time operating converting machinery. Provide forklift experience if possible. Receive job‑specific training, including safe use and operation of powered industrial trucks. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Follow safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Complete computer‑based safety training. Education and Experience No experience is required. Knowledge and Skills Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team. Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery. Fundamental understanding of or ability to quickly learn production equipment. Compensation: The hourly rate is $25.20. The position may also be eligible for a short‑term incentive.
