New Graduate Engineer, Manufacturing (Starshield)

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

NEW GRADUATE ENGINEER. MANUFACTURING (STARSHIELD)

As an engineer within the Starshield Manufacturing organization, you will have the exciting opportunity to utilize your knowledge, experience, and creativity to develop novel solutions at the cutting edge of space technology. Expect to learn new skills, to work hands on with hardware, and to solve engineering problems across manufacturing and production domains. You will provide input into the development and optimization of our new and existing products. You will also collaborate cross functionally and be a vital part of the relationship between our engineering and production teams.

The manufacturing team has a variety of disciplines and skillsets vital to the successful build, test, and utilization of Starshield products . An engineer on this team must have a working knowledge of design, schematics, operations, manufacturing, testing, and flight. They should also demonstrate sound engineering intuition and critical thinking and be comfortable working under ambiguous requirements with minimal oversight . Combining these skills, these engineers face challenges across a wide variety of work centers at the company, and the team is frequently asked to tackle new, inter-departmental development projects. The ultimate goal of the Manufacturing team is to ensure that satellites and customers achieve their mission.
