Unit Information: Location: Overland Park Regional Medical Center Floor: 3rd Floor, Main Building Type of Staff: Day shift with 9 RNs, 2 OB technicians, and 1 unit clerk; night shift staffing based on AWHONN guidelines with 1:1 patient ratio in labor and recovery. Equipment: Fetal Monitoring, Operating Room equipment. Typical Procedures: Vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections. Float Area: Mother Baby, Women's Surgery. Typical hiring profile: Candidates with Labor and Delivery experience preferred; circulation for cesarean section, catching newborns, and antepartum care advantageous.
