Recruiter

Now hiring a Recruiter for a direct-hire opportunity in Fredericksburg, VA!

Established and growing company is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join their team!

The Recruiter will support hiring needs across the organization by attracting qualified applicants, coordinating candidate selection, and helping new employees transition into the company. This position will work closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to keep recruitment activities organized, responsive, and aligned with business needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate recruiting, a proactive approach to candidate sourcing, and the ability to balance multiple openings while providing a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with department leaders to understand hiring priorities and position requirements.
• Build candidate pipelines through online recruiting platforms, community partnerships, educational institutions, and hiring events.
• Prepare and manage recruitment advertising to reach qualified applicants.
• Review applications and conduct initial conversations to assess candidate experience, qualifications, and interest.
• Recommend candidates to hiring teams and coordinate next steps throughout the selection process.
• Assist with interviews, employment offers, and communication with candidates.
• Arrange required pre-employment screenings and verifications.
• Complete hiring documentation and support onboarding and employee orientation activities.
• Maintain recruiting practices that align with equal opportunity requirements and applicable company policies.
• Assist with HR presentations and follow established quality and environmental procedures.

This position will work on-site in Fredericksburg, VA.

Annual salary range is $60,000-$70,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in a corporate setting.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
