Dining Room Server

Server / Dietary AideThis position is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for our residents. Servers (Dietary Aides) also assist Cooks in the preparation and service of meals, make connections with residents, are courteous and friendly co-workers, and follow procedures as outlined by state and federal regulations.The impact you'll make:Greets residents to the dining experience warmly and promptlyAccurately take food and drink orders in dining room and relay orders to kitchen staffEnsure knowledge of the menu and be able to describe meal optionsServes food and drink to table efficiently and courteouslyEnsures resident satisfaction and checks on guests throughout their meal; addresses any concernsAssist in the preparation of foodSet up dining room as a clean, inviting spaceAssist in cleaning resident eating areas, kitchen work areas, equipment and utensilsReport any issues or problems that may arise to Dietary ManagerAttend in-services and other required meetingsPromote and exemplifies the Priority Life Care mission and values at all timesQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent; serving experience preferred but not required.Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.Customer service experience preferredPriority Life Care provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
