Visual Designer

Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Visual Designer to join our creative team and support a variety of day-to-day design needs. This role is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level designer who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across different formats and types of creative requests.

You’ll support projects ranging from invitations and mailers to PDFs, presentation decks, and other visual assets, working within established brand guidelines and design systems. You’ll collaborate closely with the design lead and broader creative team to take incoming requests and turn them into polished, thoughtful, and on-brand deliverables. This is a great opportunity for a versatile designer who enjoys variety, can move quickly between projects, and has strong foundational visual design skills.

What You’ll Do • Design a variety of visual assets, including invitations, mailers, PDFs, presentations, and other digital collateral • Support presentation design needs, including deck creation, formatting, layout, and visual polish • Execute designs within established brand guidelines, templates, and design systems • Work across Figma, Adobe InDesign, Canva, and Adobe Illustrator depending on the project • Translate content and creative direction into clear, compelling visual communications • Manage multiple incoming design requests and prioritize work based on timelines and business needs • Collaborate with the design lead and cross-functional partners to gather requirements, incorporate feedback, and deliver final assets • Participate in design reviews and quickly iterate based on feedback • Ensure a high level of attention to detail and consistency across all deliverables

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in visual, graphic, or communication design • Strong foundational design skills with an eye for typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and composition • Experience designing across a range of formats such as digital collateral, invitations, presentations, PDFs, or marketing materials • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign • Proficiency with Google Slides and Keynote for presentation design • Experience working with presentation and/or templated design tools • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within established brand standards • Clear communicator who is comfortable receiving feedback and collaborating with multiple stakeholders • Experience with Canva • Experience creating and formatting presentation decks, including Keynote • Experience supporting an in-house creative, brand, marketing, or events team • Comfortable taking on quick-turn design requests across a variety of mediums • Experience working within established design systems or brand guidelines
