Relationship building is paramount in what we do every day for both our team and our customers.Schwieters Companies is hiring a full-time Millwork Material Picker.If you are looking for an opportunity to advance with a growing company and enjoy seeing the beauty of craftsmanship come to life, this is the company for you.Job ResponsibilitiesManage orders to be completed in full and on timeUse a scanner gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locationsSelect material from shelves and prepare items for next stepsInspect all material for qualityStand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shiftHave constant communication with department lead on progress with work ordersWork together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveriesPick material using a stand/sit forklift as neededOther duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious material picker experience preferredComfortable learning to operate a forkliftCandidate must have a good work historyAble to lift 50+ lbs. comfortablySelf-motivated, self-directed team player and team builderAble to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail orientedCapable of standing for extended periods of timeFlexible in working overtime when necessaryBenefitsMedical/Dental – Monthly premiums are paid for by the companyVacation payHoliday pay401(k) with a 3% company matchPaid weeklyEarly access to earned wages through payroll programShort Term Disability, Life, Accident, and VisionWork ScheduleMonday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime as needed (1st shift)Monday-Friday, 2:30-11pm, overtime as needed (2nd shift)Pay$20+/hr.
