Ultrasound Technologists perform diagnostic imaging using ultrasound technology. Key responsibilities include preparing patients and explaining ultrasound procedures, operating ultrasound equipment to capture images of internal organs, analyzing images and reporting findings to physicians, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound machines, and educating patients on the ultrasound process and addressing concerns.

Requirements include an associate's or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field, certification from ARRT or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), strong technical and analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
