This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Job ID 2026-5056 Sentinel Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with CCNP level expertise in Routing and Switching. This is a high-impact role requiring deep technical knowledge, and strong customer engagement skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced enterprise environment and play a key role in supporting and optimizing complex network infrastructures. This is a full-time remote role with occasional on-site support at the Downers Grove, Illinois office. - CCNP certification or equivalent hands-on expertise is required - Must have experience in network engineering/support within enterprise environments - Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, etc.) - Hands-on experience with firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and F5 load balancers - Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments - Experience mentoring junior engineers - Excellent communication and customer-facing skills - The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment - A valid drivers license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required - Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship - Must demonstrate a can-do attitude We focus on candidates that display our ACE factor Attitude, Compassion, and Enthusiasm to deliver quality solutions with exceptional customer service.
