Senior Staff Accountant

$90,000 USD to $110,000 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Description We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate is someone that has a strong accounting foundation and is attentive to detail. This role will support our controller and finance department and contribute to critical aspects of the financial statement close. Someone who is a great teammate, enjoys collaborating with others to drive significant outcomes, that minds details and ensures accuracy, and someone who loves to work through challenges and think of original solutions Responsibilities Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations Review and import daily billings transactions into the accounting system Assisting with the implementation of new systems and integration of acquired companies Assisting with financial statement audits Conducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required Assisting with certain finance and accounting projects Qualifications: CPA, preferred Three+ years of accounting experience; some public accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of US GAAP Advanced knowledge of Excel Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical abilities Attention to detail and good time management skill Company Profile Dentive is a Dental Partner Organization (DPO) for world-class, growth-oriented doctors committed to exceptional patient care.
