About Our Client

Our client is a strong design/build firm that has experience with building different complex commercial projects throughout Connecticut - with a strong empahsis in New Haven County. This role will sit in the Waterbury, CT area with projects surrounding in a reasonable distance. The Superintendent - Commercial Construction will be responsible for overseeing all trades and all coordination needed to complete projects on time.

Job Description

Supervise on-site construction activities and manage daily operations to ensure project deadlines are met.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project schedules and budgets.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all construction sites.
Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to provide input and ensure accuracy.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare reports for management.
Resolve any on-site conflicts promptly and professionally to minimize project delays.

A successful Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Waterbury, CT should have:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate construction teams.
Proven experience in commercial construction project management and site supervision.
Familiarity with construction safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding construction plans.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges efficiently.
