Maintenance Technician I (Entry Level) Department: Facilities / Operations

Reports To: Facilities Manager Position Summary Entry-level role focused on supporting facility operations and learning basic maintenance practices. Performs routine tasks under supervision to maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment across manufacturing, warehouse, and office areas. Key Responsibilities

Performs routine tasks under supervision to maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment across manufacturing, warehouse, and office areas. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general maintenance tasks (basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry repairs)
- Support preventative maintenance activities on facility systems and equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests with guidance from senior technicians
- Perform general labor tasks (moving equipment, materials, workspace setup)
- Maintain cleanliness and 6S standards across facility areas
- Support groundskeeping (snow removal, salting, outdoor upkeep)
- Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental procedures
- Identify and report maintenance issues or risks
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0-1 year relevant experience (or willingness to learn)
- Basic familiarity with hand tools preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Mechanical aptitude (basic level)
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Safety awareness
