REGISTERED NURSE: C&W Mott Childrens Hospital (PACU)

Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to multiple pediatric populations (ICU, general care, and OP). Maintain airway, vital signs, monitoring EKG, arterial lines and pain management (epidural and PCAs). Provide patient/family education and patient‑family centered care. Collaborate with all members of the health care team to meet complex care requirements of the pediatric population. Provide care throughout the perioperative experience (pre‑operative and post‑operative care, including discharge and phone triage). Serve on call and weekend obligations. Required Qualifications Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan. Two (2) years of PACU RN experience, Level 1 Pediatric ED RN experience or Pediatric ICU RN experience within the last three (3) years. Resume required for both internal and external applicants (must be complete and accurate). Must meet all required qualifications prior to the start date of employment. Desired Qualifications BSN preferred. PALS and ACLS certification. CPAN/CAPA certified. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. Positive, collaborative approach.
