In this role, you will perform echocardiograms to assess cardiac structure and function for patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. This position plays a critical role in supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions in a geriatric population.ResponsibilitiesPerform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) in accordance with established protocolsObtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by cardiology providersPrepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort and safety throughout testingIdentify and document anatomical and functional cardiac findingsAccurately document procedures and upload studies to designated systemsMaintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment as neededAdhere to infection control, HIPAA, and facility policiesCollaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staffTravel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities as assignedRequirementsAssociate or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related fieldRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification requiredPrior experience performing echocardiograms requiredExperience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferredStrong technical and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working with the geriatric populationAbility to travel as neededBenefitsCompetitive salary: $60,000 - $90,000Paid Time OffWhy Work With Us?Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniorsWork in a collaborative, mission-driven environmentEnjoy work-life balanceEqual Opportunity EmployerInfinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
