FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Position Details Full‑time FLOOR TECHNICIAN – Hiring immediately. Location: 2011 North Edwards Avenue, Mount Pleasant, TX 75455. Additional openings within the school district are available. Schedule: Full‑time, Sunday night through Thursday morning (hours may vary). Full‑time and part‑time opportunities with flexible scheduling are available. Prior floor care and janitorial experience, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing, is preferred. Pay: $12.00 to $16.00 per hour. Background check and drug screening required for employment. Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures for floor care, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment to clean large floor surfaces. Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
