Registered Nurse

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients. This care is delivered by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership skills are required in anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is essential. The RN will delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the available staff. Providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care is also a key responsibility. Two to five years of experience is preferred.
