The Work: Leading a development team of 15-20 FTE's focused on storing and managing system SSR data using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing complex solutions utilizing AWS native technologies
• Ensuring the development team stays on schedule and is able to meet programmatic milestones
• Represents the team at customer meetings, TEMs and contributes to the team agile planning ceremonies
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
• Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree Alternatively, candidates with 18 years or more of in-depth experience in a related field, which is clearly relevant to the position, may also be considered, even if they do not possess a formal degree.

• An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph with CI poly within the last 7 years.

Desired Skills:

• Java, Spring boot or python
• Microservice architectures
• CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, , Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker, Ansible
• Database : NoSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design
• OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
• Test frameworks and automation to include Cyprus and Cucumber
• Previous team leadership experience is desired but not required.
• Knowledge of UTT or targeting is desired

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $139,600 - $246,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
