System Integration and Test Engineer - Level 1

Description Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented System Integration & Test Engineer Associate to join our team in Littleton, CO to work in a lab environment. As an early career professional, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customer test needs and requirements by developing and implementing test solutions that meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Key Responsibilities Support the development of test solutions that meet customer requirements and technical standards. Implement functional and technical test standards to ensure high-quality test results. Apply basic understanding of test engineering disciplines, including: test planning and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute tests for complex systems. Work with pressurization, ordnance, and cryogenic systems to develop and implement test solutions. Qualifications The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field such as Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering, interest in hands-on physical work with hardware, and a basic understanding of test engineering principles and concepts. Must be a US Citizen; this position does not require a government security clearance. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field (such as Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering) from an accredited college or university. Must be a US Citizen. Desired Skills Basic understanding of test engineering principles and concepts. Experience writing test plans, test procedures, or technical documents. Interest in hands-on physical work with hardware. Lab experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems. Willingness to work various shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts). Clearance Level None Schedule 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off. Pay Range Annual base salary range in Colorado: $60,200 - $106,030.
