Nurse Practitioner - Behavioral Health

Title Nurse Practitioner - Behavioral Health / Long-Term Care (PMHNP or NP with Psychiatric Experience) Location South Arkansas (Crossett and Monticello, and surrounding areas) Schedule Full-Time or Part-Time Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits Assess and manage depression, anxiety, dementia-related behaviors, and other behavioral health conditions Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications Maintain EMR documentation and treatment plans Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and facility leadership Travel between assigned facilities throughout the week as needed Qualifications PMHNP preferred; other NP backgrounds considered if comfortable managing psychiatric patients DEA registration or ability to obtain Experience in psychiatry, geriatrics, long-term care, primary care, or related settings preferred Ability to work independently with clinical support available Compensation and Perks Annual earnings range from $105,000 to $190,000, with opportunity to earn more based on schedule and patient volume W-2 employee classification Full-time and part-time opportunities available Benefits available for full-time employees Credentialing and administrative support provided Access to psychiatrist consultation and clinical support Growth opportunities as the organization expands A client of AlphaStaffHCM™ is searching for a Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric experience to provide behavioral health services to nursing home and long-term care residents throughout South Arkansas.
