Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide skilled nursing support to patients in a hospital setting within the medical-surgical unit. Ensure quality patient care by assisting with daily activities and critical procedures under RN supervision.

Responsibilities:

Administer basic patient care duties such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
Assist with patient mobility and positioning to promote comfort and safety.
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
Maintain a clean and organized environment, including equipment and supplies.
Collaborate with team members to support patient care plans.
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to infection control standards.

Qualifications:

Valid CNA license in hand prior to submission.
Valid BLS certification.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CNA in a hospital or medical-surgical setting.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication and patient-focused care skills.
Experience with orthopedic and bariatric patient procedures preferred.
