HR Generalist

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations for a service-focused organization in New Brighton, Minnesota. This Contract position is well suited for someone who can balance employee support with strong administrative follow-through across onboarding, benefits, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will bring a practical understanding of employee relations and HR systems while helping maintain efficient, accurate HR processes.Responsibilities:• Provide day-to-day human resources support by addressing employee questions, resolving workplace concerns, and guiding staff on company policies and procedures.• Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation support, and timely completion of required employment records.• Administer benefits-related activities such as enrollments, updates, employee communications, and issue resolution with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.• Maintain and update employee information within HR systems, ensuring records are complete, current, and compliant with organizational standards.• Assist with leave administration, including FMLA-related tracking, documentation, and communication with employees and internal stakeholders.• Support HR administration by preparing reports, processing personnel changes, and managing confidential records with discretion.• Use HRIS and Oracle tools to enter data, monitor transactions, and help improve consistency in HR operations.• Partner with managers and employees on employee relations matters, escalating sensitive issues when appropriate and helping promote a positive work environment.
