Med-Surg Tele RN – 

Assignment Overview

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN
• Shift Type: Night Shift
• Shift Timing: 19:00 – 07:30
• Schedule Options: 36 or 48 hours/week ( must declare in submission )
• Shift Pattern: 3x12-hour nights (or equivalent for 48-hour option)
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday required
• PBDS Assessment: Waived

• Must meet all requirements strictly for consideration

‍⚕️ Experience Requirements

• Minimum 18 months recent Med-Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Must also have 18+ months PERM (non-travel) Med-Surg Telemetry experience
• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills required

Licensure Requirements

• Active PERM Ohio RN License OR Compact State License IN HAND (required at submission)

Required Certifications & Testing

• AHA BLS (required)
• AHA ACLS (required)
• ECG rhythm recognition test (must pass during orientation)
• SafeMedicate testing (must pass during orientation)
  • Failure to achieve acceptable scores may result in removal from assignment

• Provide direct care for Med-Surg Telemetry patients
• Continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Safe medication administration and clinical decision-making
• Work within Cleveland Clinic standards and protocols
