We are seeking a warm, energetic, Christcentered leader to serve as ourYoung Families Director (20 hours per week)a role dedicated to helping young families feel rooted, connected, and supported as they follow Jesus together. If you are passionate about building relationships, nurturing faith, and creating meaningful connections between families and the church community, wed love to meet you.

As ourYoung Families Director, you will:

• Minister to and build connections among young families and help them grow in their walk with Christ.
• Collaborate closely with Childrens Ministry, Youth/Young Adults, and our Growing Young Team.
• Plan and lead activities and events that support spiritual growth, community, and fun (parenting classes, family events, parents night out, etc.).
• Organize quarterly social gatherings for young families.
• Lead childrens messages in worship 16 times per year.
• Support and help shape Sunday Second Hour programming.
• Oversee The Jungle indoor play space as an outreach tool to families in our community.
• Welcome and follow up with new or lessconnected families.
• Help lead and vision children/family events (VBS, Harvest Party, etc.).
• Ensure childcare is provided for allchurch activities.
• Foster intergenerational connections throughout our church.
• Communicate consistently with young families through bulletin, enews, and social media.

Idea candidates will possess:

• Bachelors Degree in a related field desired
• Deep spiritual maturity that is rooted in Christ, grounded in Gods Word, and reflects a passionate desire to serve the Lord
  • Knowledge of the Bible
  • Evidence of an active devotional and prayer life
  • Modeling a Jesus-centered way of life by being a living example of a disciple who loves, trusts and relies on Jesus and loves others with the love and grace of Christ
• Relational approach exemplifying a genuine love for young families and an eagerness to build solid relationships/rapport with a wide variety of people (all ages, believers and non-believers, races, etc.)
• Experience with or willingness to receive training in conflict resolution
• Clear understanding of boundaries (including healthy and appropriate personal, emotional, physical and electronic/social media boundaries between self and those in your care)
• Belief in the Confessions and Creeds of the Reformed Church in America
• Understanding of responsible use of social media (understanding that our online persona is part of our witness)
