An established firm based in Westfield, New Jersey with over 95 years in practice is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 2+ years of experience to join their team. This role involves hands-on work in patent litigation, federal district court matters, and PTAB proceedings, supporting sophisticated intellectual property disputes across a range of technologies.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience handling patent litigation matters in federal court
• Strong academic credentials and law firm training
• Experience with drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery in complex litigation
• Technical background or prior exposure to IP-intensive technologies
• Active admission to the New Jersey Bar or eligibility to waive in

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery in patent litigation matters
• Assisting with case strategy, legal research, and claim analysis
• Participating in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
• Collaborating with partners and senior associates on complex IP disputes
• Managing case responsibilities efficiently while meeting litigation deadlines
