What you'll do:

• Provide inpatient dialysis nursing care for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients (PD is supported; PD experience not required for hire).
• Manage patient care using clinical judgment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making in assigned inpatient pods/units.
• Perform and support vascular access and dialysis-related care, including accessing fistulas and dialysis catheters.
• Support safe dialysis workflows using BBraun machines and follow facility protocols.
• Collaborate with charge nurse leadership and a team environment across multiple facilities as needed.
• Complete documentation in Meditech Expanse and support medication workflows using Pyxis.
• Participate in required onboarding/orientation and any compliance competencies assigned for the role.

What you need required:

• RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• CDN or CNN (preferred)
• 1 year of inpatient dialysis experience
• Ability to travel/float between facilities within the area
• Must pass an EKG competency exam (required prior to arrival, as part of compliance)
• Auto insurance (required)

• First-time travelers may be considered, with additional acute-care experience requirements

About the assignment: This dialysis RN role supports a leading healthcare facility system in the Bossier City area, with work occurring across multiple campuses located within approximately 15–30 minutes of each other. While one main facility will be designated for travelers, you should expect to float frequently and be scheduled across inpatient dialysis units. Orientation includes a structured onboarding process and basic access to unit workflows before full assignment responsibilities begin.
