Providing senior-level guidance in transmission line engineering, the full-time Licensed Transmission Line Engineer will design transmission lines ranging from 69 kV to 500 kV, ensure compliance with industry standards, and mentor junior engineers while working remotely or from any U.S. or Canadian office location. Key responsibilities Design and review transmission line projects, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards Champion compliance with industry standards and contribute to the development of internal design procedures Mentor engineering team members and oversee project models and documentation as the Responsible in Charge Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 7 years of related transmission line engineering experience Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S Proficiency in PLS-CADD for designing transmission lines Strong knowledge of design codes and standards such as NESC, IEEE, and ASCE
