This role combines hands-on automation support, troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement while partnering with laboratory, quality, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and compliant operations.What You'll DoServe as a subject matter expert for laboratory automation systems, including liquid handlers, robotics, plate readers, and other automated laboratory instruments.Troubleshoot instrument, software, and workflow issues to minimize downtime and improve laboratory performance.Develop, implement, and optimize automated laboratory methods and processes.Support instrument qualification, computer system validation (CSV), calibration, maintenance, and lifecycle management activities.Analyze system performance data and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.Train and support laboratory personnel on automated systems and best practices.Utilize LIMS, ELN, and related laboratory systems to maintain data integrity and compliant documentation.Author and review SOPs, validation documents, protocols, and technical reports.Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP/GxP, data integrity, and laboratory safety requirements.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or a related technical field.6+ years of industry experience supporting laboratory automation, robotics, or regulated laboratory operations.Hands-on experience with automated liquid handling systems such as Hamilton, Beckman, Tecan, or similar platforms.Strong troubleshooting skills for automated instrumentation, software, and laboratory workflows.Experience with system validation, qualification, and change control activities.Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple functional teams.Knowledge of GLP, GMP/GxP, data integrity requirements, and computerized system validation.PreferredExperience with laboratory automation programming, workflow development, or process optimization.Experience with LIMS, ELN, and other laboratory informatics systems.Experience training, mentoring, or providing technical guidance to laboratory staff. Additional InformationPosition is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM.
